Our expedition, set for the spring of 2025, promises to be a challenging yet rewarding ascent that will be the highlight of any mountaineer’s professional career. Climbers will also be able to summit Mera Peak, which stands at 6,470 m (21,227 feet) and provides a good acclimatization phase as well as a magnificent climbing in and of itself.
After summiting Mera Peak, we will fly to Kanchenjunga’s base camp, which is located at 5,200 m (17,056 feet). This tranquil and isolated site, located against the spectacular background of the Kanchenjunga Range, serves as our base camp for our climb.
The climb is classified as an 8000er Ultra and is rated challenging, with the usual route leading us up Kanchenjunga’s South West Face. This route, while challenging, provides incredible views and an intense climbing experience. Along the route, we will see several noteworthy peaks in the region, including Kanchenjunga South, Kanchenjunga Central, Kanchenjunga West, Kangbachen, Kabru, and Kirat Chuli. Since opening to foreign trekkers in 1988, the Kanchenjunga region has become a must-see destination for mountaineers and adventurers alike. The expedition is more than just a climb; it’s an immersive journey through one of Nepal’s most beautiful and unexplored locations.
