Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4265ft)

Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the evening in the vibrant city of Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly Kathmandu (1300m/4265ft) to Lukla (2845m/9333ft) and trek to Phakding (2,610m/88562ft); 8 km, 3-4 hrs

Begin with a morning flight to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding. Gentle yoga stretch in the afternoon to relax after the day’s trek.

Day 03: Phakding (2,610m/8,565ft) to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11,285ft); 11 km, 6-7 hrs

A steady incline towards Namche with suspension bridges and scenic views. Morning stretching to prepare the body before the trek.

Day 04: Acclimatization and Exploration Day

Explore Namche and surrounding viewpoints like Everest View Hotel. Outdoor yoga vith a mountain view, learning breathwork to aid acclimatization.

A pleasant downhill walk back to Namche. Morning stretch before descending.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu (1,300m / 4,265ft)

Arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll fly over the stunning Himalayan range and catch a glimpse of the terraced fields that lead into the valley. After clearing customs, our representative will meet you at the airport and guide you through the vibrant, bustling streets of Kathmandu to your hotel. Take some time to rest and soak in the city’s charm before your trek begins.

Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610m / 8,563ft)

After breakfast, you’ll embark on an exhilarating 30-minute flight to Lukla, famous for its mountainous runway. Sit on the left-hand side of the plane for breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, your trek officially begins as you make your way through scenic Sherpa villages and into the beautiful Dudh Koshi Valley. Your first stop is Phakding, where you’ll stay the night.

Trekking Time: 3-4 hours

Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,290ft)

After an early breakfast, you’ll continue trekking through forests, across high suspension bridges, and alongside the Dudh Kosi River. The trail gets steeper as you approach Namche, a vibrant Sherpa town nestled in the mountains. Along the way, enjoy your first glimpses of Mount Everest. At Namche, take the evening to explore the town or rest after the challenging ascent.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche

Today is all about adjusting to the altitude. You can spend your time exploring Namche, visiting the Sherpa Culture Museum, or hiking up to the Everest View Hotel for unparalleled views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. This is an important day to help your body acclimatize for the days ahead.

Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867m / 12,687ft)

After breakfast, the trail continues along the valley, offering some of the best views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You’ll pass small villages before descending to Phunki Tenga, where you can take a lunch break. From here, a steep uphill climb takes you to Tengboche, home to the region’s largest monastery. Upon arrival, enjoy the stunning panoramas surrounding you.

Day 6: Exploration Day in Pangboche (3,985m / 13,074ft)

Trekking Time: 4-5 hours (9km)

Day 8: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2,845m / 9,333ft)

Your final trekking day will take you from Namche back down to Lukla. Although the trail is mostly downhill, it’s still a long day of walking, so be sure to pace yourself. Arriving in Lukla, you’ll have a chance to reflect on your adventure before your flight back to Kathmandu.

Trekking Time: 6-7 hours (19km)

Day 9: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Take the day at your own pace—relax at your hotel, explore more of Kathmandu, or enjoy a massage in the afternoon if desired. Enjoy the serenity of a tranquil setting as you wind down after your mountain adventure.

Day 11: International Departure
