Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our team will warmly welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or relax at your hotel. In the evening, we’ll have a group meeting to introduce the trekking team and provide an overview of the journey ahead. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing of the World UNESCO Heritage Sites
Today, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. We’ll visit landmarks such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. These cultural gems offer a deep dive into Nepal’s rich heritage, with stunning architecture and spiritual significance. In the evening, you’ll have time to finalize preparations for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
We take an exhilarating morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a gateway to the Khumbu region. After landing, we begin our trek to Phakding, descending through the lush Dudh Koshi River valley. The trail is surrounded by stunning landscapes, offering glimpses of distant peaks. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Today, we continue along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges before a challenging ascent to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital. Along the way, we catch our first views of Everest and other towering peaks. Namche is a vibrant hub with local markets and cozy teahouses. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day
We spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar to adjust to the higher altitude. You can hike to nearby viewpoints like the Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Explore the local markets or visit the Sherpa Museum to learn more about the region’s culture. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole
We leave Namche and ascend towards Dole, passing through forests of rhododendron and pine. As we climb higher, the trees give way to more alpine terrain, and the views become increasingly dramatic. The trek offers stunning sights of Thamserku and Cho Oyu peaks. Overnight in Dole.

Day 7: Trek from Dole to Machhermo
Today’s trek takes us further into the Gokyo Valley as we ascend from Dole to Machhermo. The trail winds through alpine meadows and yak pastures, with increasingly close views of the towering Himalayas. Machhermo is known for its beautiful landscapes and offers a great place to rest before the push to Gokyo. Overnight in Machhermo.

Day 8: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake
We trek towards the enchanting Gokyo Lakes, passing through rugged terrain with incredible views of Cho Oyu. Upon reaching Gokyo, we are greeted by the stunning turquoise lakes surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks. The serene beauty of this high-altitude destination is awe-inspiring. Day 9: Gokyo Lake Acclimatization Day
We spend the day acclimatizing at Gokyo Lake, where you can explore the surrounding area or hike up to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The reflection of the peaks on the Gokyo Lakes is a photographer’s dream. Overnight in Gokyo.

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Lumde via Renjo La Pass
Today, we cross the challenging Renjo La Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Everest range, Gokyo Lakes, and the surrounding valleys. After crossing the pass, we descend to the village of Lumde, where we’ll rest after a long but rewarding day. Overnight in Lumde.

Day 11: Trek from Lumde to Thame
Our trek continues as we descend to Thame, a beautiful Sherpa village known for its ancient monastery. The trail offers fantastic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Thame is also the birthplace of many famous mountaineers, making it a culturally rich stop. Overnight in Thame.

Day 12: Trek from Thame to Mende
From Thame, we head toward Mende, a picturesque village tucked away from the main trekking route. The trail offers serene landscapes and fewer crowds, making it a peaceful day of trekking. Mende is surrounded by beautiful mountains and offers an ideal setting to relax. Overnight in Mende.

Day 13: Trek from Mende to Kyajo Ri Base Camp
We begin our approach to Kyajo Ri Base Camp, leaving the established trails behind. The trek takes us through remote valleys and rugged terrain, eventually reaching the base camp, where we’ll set up camp and prepare for the climb. The base camp is set in a stunning alpine setting. Day 14: Rest and Acclimatization at Kyajo Ri Base Camp
Today is dedicated to resting and acclimatizing at Kyajo Ri Base Camp. We’ll go over climbing techniques and review the route to the summit. You can explore the area or simply rest and take in the incredible surroundings as we prepare for the ascent. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 15: Reserve Day
We set aside an additional day for rest, acclimatization, or any necessary adjustments before the summit push. This day ensures we have enough flexibility in case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 16: Trek from Kyajo Ri Base Camp to High Camp
We ascend from Base Camp to High Camp, navigating through steep terrain and rocky sections. The views of the surrounding peaks become even more dramatic as we gain altitude. At High Camp, we’ll set up for the night and prepare for the final summit push. Overnight at High Camp.

Day 17: Trek from High Camp to Camp I
Today, we continue ascending toward Camp I, which serves as our launching point for the summit attempt. The terrain becomes more technical, and we’ll be using climbing gear for parts of the ascent. Camp I offers stunning vistas of the surrounding Himalayan giants. Overnight at Camp I.

Day 18: Summit Day – Kyajo Ri (6,186 m) and Return to Base Camp
We begin the summit push early in the morning, aiming to reach the top of Kyajo Ri by sunrise. The climb is challenging but rewarding, offering stunning 360-degree views from the summit. After celebrating at the top, we descend back to Base Camp for a well-deserved rest. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 19: Trek from Kyajo Ri Base Camp to Namche Bazaar
After our successful summit, we retrace our steps back to Namche Bazaar. The descent is much easier, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way. Once in Namche, you can relax and reflect on the incredible achievement. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 20: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
We continue descending from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, passing through the beautiful Dudh Koshi Valley. The trail offers one last opportunity to soak in the beauty of the Khumbu region. Once in Lukla, we’ll celebrate the completion of the trek with the team. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 21: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
In the morning, we catch a flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore more of Kathmandu’s cultural attractions. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 22: Extra Day in Kathmandu
Today is a free day in Kathmandu, offering you time to explore more of the city or rest after the trek. You can visit the bustling markets, relax in one of the many cafes, or explore historical sites. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 23: International Departure
After an unforgettable adventure in the Himalayas, it’s time to say goodbye to Nepal. Our team will transfer you to the airport for your international departure. We hope you leave with amazing memories and the desire to return to the mountains. Safe travels!
