Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m)
Your adventure in Nepal begins with your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. At 1300 meters above sea level, the capital city is nestled in a valley surrounded by the Himalayas. After completing your immigration formalities, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, perhaps venturing into the bustling Thamel area, known for its array of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
This day is dedicated to exploring the rich cultural heritage of Kathmandu. A guided tour will take you through historic sites such as the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, and the ancient Swayambhunath Stupa, often referred to as the Monkey Temple. In the afternoon, you’ll attend a pre-trek briefing where you’ll meet your guide, discuss the journey ahead, and ensure all necessary trekking gear is prepared.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat (7-8 hrs.)
Early in the morning, you’ll embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jagat. This 7-8-hour journey takes you through the Nepalese countryside, offering glimpses of rural life alongside the Trishuli River, terraced fields, and distant mountain vistas. The road trip is an adventure in itself, showcasing Nepal’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival in Jagat, you’ll have the evening to rest and prepare for the trekking days ahead.

Day 04: Drive from Jagat to Chame (5-6 hrs., 2670m)
Continuing your journey deeper into the Annapurna region, you’ll drive from Jagat to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. This 5-6-hour drive offers stunning views of towering cliffs, dense forests, and the roaring Marsyangdi River. Chame is known for its hot springs where you can relax and soothe your muscles. The town also offers your first close-up views of the Annapurna range.

Day 05: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3200m, 5-6 hrs.)
Your trek officially begins as you leave Chame, heading towards Pisang. The trail takes you through dense forests, alongside the Marsyangdi River, offering spectacular views of Annapurna II and IV. This 5-6-hour trek is a gentle introduction to the challenges ahead, with gradual ascents through beautiful landscapes. Pisang is known for its picturesque setting and traditional Tibetan-style village.

Day 06: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3540m, 6-7 hrs.)
Heading out from Pisang, the trail diverges, offering two routes to Manang. Opting for the upper route provides stunning views of the Annapurna range and the beautiful Manang Valley. This 6-7 hour trek through the dry, desert-like landscape of the upper Manang region is both challenging and rewarding. Manang, a significant stop for acclimatization, offers unique insights into local culture and lifestyle.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day in Manang (3540m)
This day is reserved for acclimatization to reduce the risk of altitude sickness. Manang offers various activities, including short hikes to Gangapurna Lake or the Bhojo Gumba. There are also opportunities to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association clinic to learn about altitude sickness. This rest day is crucial for your body to adjust to the higher elevation and prepare for further ascent.

Day 08: Manang to Yak Kharka (4110m, 4-5 hrs.)
Leaving Manang, the trail ascends to Yak Kharka, a significant climb to 4110 meters over 4-5 hours. This segment introduces you to more rugged terrain, with sparse vegetation and stunning mountain landscapes. Yak Kharka, meaning ‘Yak Pasture,’ offers a peaceful setting for the night, with opportunities to observe local herding practices.

Day 09: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4925m, 5-6 hrs.)
The trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi is a challenging ascent to 4925 meters, taking approximately 5-6 hours. Thorong Phedi, the base of Thorong La Pass, is situated in a desolate but breathtaking landscape. This day requires careful pacing and hydration, as the altitude presents a significant challenge.

Day 10: Thorong Phedi to Thorong Peak Base Camp (5350m, 3-4 hrs.)
A relatively short but steep trek takes you from Thorong Phedi to Thorong Peak Base Camp at 5350 meters. This 3-4 hour journey is a precursor to the summit attempt of Thorong Peak. Base Camp offers a chance to rest and prepare for the early morning climb, amidst the serene beauty and stark landscapes of high altitude.

Day 11: Thorong Peak Base Camp to Summit (6144m) and back to Muktinath (3810m)
The summit day begins before dawn, aiming for Thorong Peak at 6144 meters. The climb is strenuous but immensely rewarding, offering unparalleled views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and Mustang. After the summit, a long descent takes you to the sacred site of Muktinath at 3810 meters, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 12: Reserve Day for Climbing if Needed
This day is set aside as a contingency in case of bad weather or other unforeseen challenges on the summit day. It provides flexibility, ensuring a safe and successful ascent of Thorong Peak.

Day 13: Drive from Muktinath to Jomsom (2500m, 2 hrs.)
A 2-hour drive brings you from Muktinath to Jomsom, a significant town in the Mustang region. This journey down the Kali Gandaki Valley offers a dramatic change in landscape, from barren high-altitude terrain to greener, more vegetated areas. Jomsom is known for its strong winds and its position along the Annapurna Circuit.

Day 14: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (20-25 minutes)
A short, scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara offers breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Upon arrival in Pokhara, a city known for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy leisurely boat rides on Phewa Lake or explore the vibrant Lakeside area.

Day 15: Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara (30 minutes flight/6 hours’ drive)
On this day, you can fly back to Kathmandu, a quick 30-minute journey, or take a scenic 6-hour drive through the Nepalese countryside. Once back in Kathmandu, you can explore any missed sights, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax and reflect on your adventure.

Day 16: International Departure
Your journey in Nepal comes to an end as you are transferred to the airport for your international departure. With memories of high mountain peaks, unique cultures, and challenging treks, you say goodbye to the land of the Himalayas, possibly planning your next adventure in this land of wonders.
